I feel like we are all quick to complain (myself included, for sure!) so I wanted to be sure to give kudos to Dover!
I got tossed big time over the weekend and wanted to replace my helmet, despite not landing on my head. I contacted Tipperary to enact their replacement policy. It took a few days, a few E-mails, and a few failed phone calls to get anywhere but I was told that they do not have any stock of my particular helmet and would not have any until May at the soonest. The only option available was to contact the original retailer (also out of stock) or another online retailer.
I reached out to Dover, got a hold of a great rep named Caroline G. She tracked down the best answer possible - that Dover would replace my helmet, honoring Tipperary’s replacement policy, despite my not having purchased my helmet there.
New helmet has been ordered and is en route! Above and beyond service from both Caroline G. and Dover!
