Other than money, is there any know issues with having a horse always shod with Equi-Pak ? My horse has thin soles and whenever the ground is wet near when he is shod, he is foot sore after the trim.
The farrier is very aware of the issue and removes as little of the sole as possible. I have tried treating with durasole and using magic cushion.

Agree!
My horse has been shod with equipak for years. Only issue is thrush and general funkiness from the lack of open air so I do a clean trax treatment once in awhile and that clears everything up.
