PS of Sweden bridles: lack-of-throat-latch legality?

I’ve been trying to find the current status of the requirements for a throat latch on PSO Sweden bridles for USDF showing. I’m on the PSO website and I thought that you could buy throat latches as an add-on, but I don’t see any…

They do still have them, they are just darned near impossible to navigate to on the website unless you search for them specifically. I didn’t realize when I bought my bridle direct from the that they didn’t include the throatlatch but I was able to order one easily to add on.

I don’t know specifically about the rules but I would feel weird riding without one, even if it is legal.

The rule is that a throat latch OR jowl strap is required. Annex A has a lot of examples, including several PS of Sweden models that are allowed without a throat latch.

My PS of S bridle came with an alternative browband and throat latch strap.
