PSA - Sale on Premier Equine xc boots

After reading the thread on the hind xc boots, I started searching around. My Ecogold hinds are a regal pain to put on and never stay in place, so I’ve been looking for alternatives.
Premierequine.co.uk is having a 20% off sale on the air cooled gallop boots. I think there are 3 models with the discount.
I ordered the originals and it was $50 for fronts and $55 for hinds (I ordered a small in hinds as apparently they run large).
Shipping was $43 but still came out cheaper than most other places.

Sale through tomorrow morning only, however.

I have a set of these but the hinds rub my mare. I got the largest but she is a big boned draft cross. I went with Thinlines. The fronts on the PE’s are awesome though. I like the shatterproff plate.

I am using Majyk Equipe in front and premier in back which is working very well for my medium boned TB. I too got my Premiers directly from the company when on sale.

I have mediums for my 16.1 TB. I just ordered a pair of smalls to see if he hates them less. They’re very tall and straps are super long on the mediums. I’d call him medium boned.

For those of you who ordered mediums for the hind, did you order medium or large for the fronts?

Hey TBFAN, just saw this. I got med hinds for Pete. They are perfect around, but a little too tall. They rubbed him really bad the 1st time I used them, but then seemed to break in, and it didn’t happen again.

I actually ordered the smalls for Archie in the hinds even though he is 16.2… They are the perfect length in the back - the part that covers the front of the hind cannon is maybe a touch short, but not enough to justify the larger size. I could probably have gotten the smalls in front too, but like the pastern coverage of the mediums in front.

I’ve got a full set in large, and the fronts seem perfect on my big-boned 16.2 TB but the hinds are a bit tall. I’m not sure if they would work or not–I’ve put them on him and walked him around, but he’s not in work right now (EPM), so I’m not sure if I should keep them or not.
