PSA to new posters/fans

If Justify or the Triple Crown has whet your appetite for racing, get an Amazon Fire streaming stick for like $25 in the upcoming Prime Day next month and select the TVG app on it. For right now, TVG is completely free if you get it this way. Then watch some racing. Whatever you might think of the humans on the network, there is racing from all over the US and all over the world. It might broaden some horizons and who knows, you might even have some fun watching it.

Pronzoni,

I don’t have the TVG app with Facebook but in the package I have with ATT/DirecTV I get TVG (not TVG2 where Churchill Downs races are broadcast) but I concur that even with “plain” TVG there is all kinds of racing, both in the US and International.

Wed-Sun in the am there is racing across the pond including all the different over-jumps racing (on any given day, might be carrying races from 3-4 different tracks). Late evenings are Australia, Hong Kong, Japan (depending on season). I’ve watch Winx in her last 7 or 8 wins live

Not trying to advertise for TVG or ATT but am supporting Pronzoni’s recommendation about broadening horizons and I love watching not only US racing but how other countries run their races (sure do wish the planet would adopt the US convention of coloring the saddle cloths by number although coming up with 30 different saddle cloth colors might be a challenge  ).

Prozini, you are one of the unsung “heros” of this racing forum.

Thanks for the heads up.

I don’t watch TV from May - October since I’m usually outside, but Mr. Beach may be interested.

You can also create a free TVG account and watch races live on your phone, tablet, or computer. I love keeping track of all the horses I exercised when they head north to race. Watching at TVG.com also makes it easier to find pedigree info when I see a slow one that catches my eye.

Just bumping this because I think it’s a great suggestion and would love to see more fans get into racing!

Thank you Pronzini!
