Published Works

This is probably a stupid question, but my Google fingers are failing me here. I’m trying to find out if an OTTB has a published work. Not tattooed and unraced, but I know she trained. Trying to figure out RRP eligibility, and if unraced they require at least a published work.

Is there a way to search that via horse name? I’m sure it’s something super simple, but I’m just not having any luck. The closest I’ve found on her Equibase profile is the “Workouts” button, but that simply takes me to all tracks by date, and I would have no idea where to even start.

You can pull up works within 2-3 months of the works using Equibase. Otherwise I believe you have to buy PPs with works either from DRF or Equibase.

Alternatively, Santa Anita goes back several years but you have to know the date. I don’t know free options by the name of the horse. Trained doesn’t mean published works BTW. Depends on where they trained and what they did. I have a filly right now who has been in training several months and has worked but they are not published works because the training center does not have an official clocker.

Great, thanks so much. I’m glad I wasn’t just being stupid and they’re not somewhere super easy. We weren’t sure if this filly had any published works, which was why we were looking. Knew she trained, but not sure if it was at a track track, or just at her home center.
