I’m looking for some pull on (no zipper) breeches that are show worthy. I ride jumpers, so I’m not concerned with being trendy in these, just comfy. I’d prefer knee patch, not full seat.
Suggestions?
Dublin brand.
I got these, IIRC, from Dover or State line over 10yrs ago.
ETA: maybe from Horseloverz?
Mine are tan & TS Pukegreen.
Still wearable (with some fraying/pinhole wear in the crotchular area )
Good heavy fabric, synthetic kneepatch, leg is long enough to wear over paddock boots.
Only Caveat: either I lost weight (possible) or waist stretched. I now need a belt with them, but they have loops.
Thank you! I like the price too
Do you trust them? I’ve had problems with receiving orders from Horseloverz, but that was several years ago and haven’t used them since. How’s your luck been?
No problem that I recall
But I haven’t ordered from them in a couple years.
Not sure they ship to the States, but if you happen to be in Canada these work
I cannot vouch for the show worthiness of Free Rides. But they are amazing.
Maybe Maya Delorez? Several people I know love them - more structure than Free Ride but less structure than a zipped breech.
Ooh I really like these. Thanks!
Agreed with the Maya Delorez, I want to get a pair of the compression in tan for showing. They hold you together very nicely while still being really stretchy and comfortable, it’s like the perfect combination of breeches and tights. They’re really sticky too, I would feel comfortable jumping or going XC schooling in them.
I also really like Free Rides, not quite as structured as the Maya but still very nice. They have show colors, not sure if I would show in them? If I wanted show pull ons I’d go with Maya.
Do you know if the compression ones true to size? Or should I size up?
So the website recommends sizing down. I’m generally a 28 in all breeches and a size 8 in regular pants. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly.
When you open the package you’ll be like omg these are tiny they’ll never fit, but they do. They are very stretchy without being thin and flimsy. The price definitely reflects the quality.
I have shown in the Irideon Cadence Elite breeches and like them https://www.toklat.com/Products/BP/30-3035

I have 5 pairs of the compression Maya Dolores Pull on Breeches. I find they run large as well @skipollo! I am a S in them, I purchased them after I packed on some Covid weight so I was a size 2 at 5’9 & 145 lbs (26 fit comfortably with a little room) and am now a 4/6 (27/28) at 160 lbs and they are not tight.
I’m losing weight and I find that the compression still allows them to fit nicely as I am de-fatting myself.
I ended up getting them and really like them. They are comfortable and also look nice.
Maya Delorez!!! I have five pairs of the compression breeches now as well and I can’t imagine wearing anything else anymore (I’m a diehard TS and Ariat convert). So comfy, so grippy, holding up great to regular use/washing, and look fantastic. Definitely show quality and both my tan and white breeches are not at all see through.
My only complaint is the price tag, but I keep collecting them so…Definitely worth the money.
ETA: Sorry just saw this is an old thread
are we twins?!? I am waiting for a rust color…
