Anyone out there have any experience with this website?
Read the reviews. They’re horrible. A bunch of hired salespeople pushing puppies that breeders haven’t sold. Buyer Beware.
Agreed. What kind of puppy are you looking for? It’s not that hard to find a reputable breeder that will sell to a pet home.
Long time Corgi owner. Looking for a Pem. Breeder of our current guy retired and her referral was a dead end. Presumably the pandemic is an issue but now been looking a year and I’ve struggled to make contact with any regional breeder (calls, email, FB) and recently a wider net. Lots of local puppy mills I’m steering clear of. Husband found this and I got too excited. Agree, BBB reviews are horrific. We lost a rescue Pem to DM and it’s very important to us to only support a responsible breeder. Demand must be such that these breeders prefer not to acknowledge cold calls. Thanks for listening.
Have you tried contacting that breeder again to see if they have any other recommendations?
What part of the world are you in? Maybe someone here might know of a good breeder.
Breeder is lovely but unfortunately just no longer active in the community. Our guy was one of her last litter. I’m in PA. My network is tapped and I appreciate any suggestions. Although we would happily pay the premium for a show quality dog I won’t fabricate a show interest to “move up the list”.
Most show breeders sell their pet quality puppies for the same price; they typically have placements for their competition puppies but may need pet homes…so, usually no need to fabricate interest in a show home and I agree that it would not be a great idea to do so.
Have you contacted the national breed club? They usually have a process to connect interested people with breeders, but I know that my club fails miserably at that task so it’s not necessarily always successful.
Puppy storefronts are not to be trusted. I flew to to get our puppy. He fit in the carrier under the seat. He also got a lot of airport socialization, lol. It was worth it to get a healthy best friend. Especially with vet bills now. Pay for a good breeder to avoid heartbreak.
