Purchase trailer from online trailer dealer - WD Ride Central?

Has anyone purchased a trailer from this website WD Ride Central? Amazing prices even with the shipping costs and nice stock of trailers - exactly what i have been looking for - prices seems almost too good to be true. Says money back guarantee for 14 days. “All of our used horse trailers come with a full 2 year structural & frame warranty, along with a 6 months components warranty. In the unlikely event that your trailer would need to be serviced, simply contact us and we can help you locate a qualified RV Dealer/Repair Shop in your area. We will then help arrange for the warranty work to be completed as quickly as possible. Please remember that all warranty work must first be pre-approved by a representative from our company.” Thought i’d just make sure noone has had bad experience before pulling the trigger on my new trailer!

Never heard of it and a Google search pulled up nothing. If it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t true.

I started poking around their site. Looks like they have more than one location so far as I can tell. Looks like they have another site based in Chula Vista, CA. The property in OR is registered to the US Government out of Washington, DC.

I wouldn’t unless you can find more about them. Otherwise, I’m in agreement with @iberianfan. They should have a FB page, BBB rating or SOMETHING!

When I Google this I don’t get a hit. The business WD Ride Central is not coming up in searches.

However I did find this. Apparently remote sales of horse trailers is a known area of fraudulent activity.

Thank you Scribbler! when i read that article so many of the warnings were true - for one they posted on HorseClicks where i remember things being sketchy way back when i was trying to buy a horse. And also it is super hard to contact them and they have a huge charge for using CC and want money from bank transfer (that initially stopped me). Plus a spank looking 2011 Brenderup for $5k??? It was too good to be true - but darn i want that trailer!

You could try to find a tack shop or an RV dealer in the same town and ask if the company exists. I’m thinking a related business but not a direct competitor! Or you can do Google Earth and see what’s on the site. Google Earth is not 100% up to date with new builds but if you turn up a clearly residential street or a military base or empty mountainside it’s likely a scam.

I would expect any legitimate trailer business to be hungry for customers, to be emailing or phoning you, and to welcome credit cards.

A scam like this doesn’t even need to be based in the USA. It could be run from overseas and be impossible to track down.

Thanks - i will NOT buy from this site - too many red flags. Now i need to find a Brenderup for sale from a legit source!

What about this one: https://horsetrailerworld.com/home/newhome.asp

They do not show up as a business on the Oregon Sec state website (I live in OR); I’d say not legit given those prices.
