Purina SuperSport vs. Buckeye Ultimate Recovery?

Thoughts on either of these two products? I’m looking for something pelleted to help my hard keeper build muscle as we’re bringing him back into work. Tri-Amino is usually my go to but Mr. Picky says no to powders and no to anything I add to make it stick to his feed.

He’s currently eating 5lbs of Thrive Feed, Purina Outlast, and 1/2lb of Purina Enrich (mostly because the Thrive website sets off every snake oil alarm I have but it’s the only feed he’ll eat and his ulcers aren’t flaring while he’s on it… I could start a whole separate thread on this, but I digress.) I tried increasing the Enrich but once we get past that 1/2lb mark he starts sifting it out and leaving it.

He’s on 24/7 turnout on grass, comes in just for meals and gets a flake of alfalfa to chow on before his grain meal.

Looking on the website the Purina has almost 100% 5 stars on the reviews and the comments were good too. I like Purina products though so I may be biased

Love the Supersport. I’ve used it successfully on a personal horse and some client horses. I used it on a personal horse when she was coming back to work after a few years off. She stayed on it for a year while she built up her topline. I did switch her back onto Tri-amino because of the cost. I also have a client horse with PSSM and it has helped her tremendously.
