QHP and Premiere Equine tall boots?

I have heard comments that the PE tall boots are surprisingly good quality for the price and I was considering some brown lace-ups. Then I saw the QHP boots, one of which comes in a cognac field boot punched toe style which I love. What’s the quality like there?

Following…

QHP? Are both brands carried in the US, if yes, who stocks them?

not many places in the US carry QHP but here’s one: https://www.minihorsestore.com/qhp-riding-boot-sophia-adult#578=5686&520=12942

I intend to order from the UK

DecoPony.com sells QHP and I believe can order the boots. She’s always happy to answer any questions I have!

A friend has Premier Equine boots and loves them. They seem really nice from what I can tell. I’ve got a bridle from them and it’s beautiful. Lovely leather, and for a very reasonable price.

I have the PE boots, lace up in navy. Nice quality for the price. They are a bit lighter weight than my Ariat Caprioles, and the laces could be longer and thicker, if im being picky. I did have to go down the lace hooks with pliers to close them up a bit so the laces didn’t come undone every time I unzipped them…

I haven’t had them long enough to comment on longevity.

I bought mine direct from PE.

Thanks for the PE recommendations!

Anyone used the QHP boots?

Yes, I have had the QHP boots in the past–forgot that! About 7 years ago, I guess, I bought a pair of their dress boots. I wore the heck out of them. The zippers lasted about 4 years and the cobbler made a bit of a hash of replacing them, but other than that, they are far from dead, and now just sitting in my basement as an “emergency pair” because the zipper thing made me go buy something else better looking in the end.

I bought mine from a company in the UK.

Today I caught my trainer friend here at the house while she rode my landlords horse. The rain changed her day to come out. I commented on her cute boots and she said they were QHP from one of our local vendors (https://shoproyalequine.com/). She loves them and wears the crap out of them everyday. They were muddy and abused…but for the price they have well outlasted her Ariats!
