Qredit Offspring

Please share your experiences and thoughts with Qredit offspring!

Temperament/trainability/gaits/health etc? Would you consider purchasing with the hope of FEI in the future? At least PSG level?

I may be interested in a cross to Contucci…Just want to get some general thoughts and opinions.

There are several Qredit offspring at the farm where I have my youngsters so I’ve been able to see some up close and personal. Nice movers and friendly temperaments. The woman who owns the farm has gone back several times and has been pleased with the results. Send me a PM if you’d like to talk further.

I visited Hilltop last year to look at stallions and liked pretty much everything I saw…but narrowed things down somewhat based on availability of fresh vs. frozen and wanting something for dressage that could also jump.

Contucci is great for dressage, but if you are looking to add some jumping ability there may be other options in Hilltop’s roster that may be better suited to a mix.

If you are breeding primarily for dressage and want to do FEI then I don’t think you could go wrong with either depending on what you are looking to improve on your mare.

No experience with Qredit, but I have a Contucci baby and she is wicked smart, very affectionate and people-oriented, and very trainable. She’s also a great mover - lots of talent to both push and sit. I’m an amature and have been having a blast with her. Currently getting scores in the 70s at second level, and she’s showing lots of talent to go farther.

That said, she won’t put up with bullying or a tactless rider, but that seems to be pretty common with mares, so I don’t know that I would ascribe that uniquely to her sire (and I’ve heard her dam sire could be a bit firery, so could be from there, too).
