Quality colorful tack

Are there any companies out there that make good quality colorful tack? For a few weeks now I have been admiring the stock of a person in my area that sells Showman tack, but have shied away due to the price and not knowing the quality. Also considering Two Horse Tack for a biothane bridle since they can do custom sizes.

Have you looked at Taylored Tack? That’s where I go to browse colorful tack and wish I had a reason to buy it.

Their Tie Dye halter bridle with beaded headband - pick up to 5 colors (in one bridle) ought to satisfy anybody’s need for color.

Absolutely. There’s tons.

But if you want QUALITY, expect to pay for it.

I personally have two headstalls from BMR. Very, very nice quality leather.

Heritage Brand heritagebrand.com is ah-maz-ing. I would LOVE one of their sets. Luans Leathers makes beautiful tack as well. I’m cheap. My headstall is Weaver and my breastcollar is Teskeys but they match and get the job done so it works for me.

Heritage brand and Lunas Leathers looks amazing! I might have to start saving up. I wasn’t looking to spend a ton, just wanted something fun for schooling and trail rides. Bling on a budget sells Showman tack, which is what I was wondering about. Haven’t been able to find many reviews.

I had no idea that’s what you meant by “colorful tack.” When I’m around western riders, it’s the button down, blue jean, working tack crowd. I’m not saying I don’t like it, mind you, just that it’s all a bit of a surprise.

So is stuff like this: http://deuceswildtack.com/tie-dye-chevron-set/
just for fun, or for gaming, or what?

I’m not sure I could do the fringe, but I could go for something like this: http://deuceswildtack.com/turquoise-tan-beauty-set/. (Given a significant increase in my current salary. )

It’s for whatever YOU want it for.

I will say the barrel racing crowd tends to wear more of the bling, but I know plenty of trail riders who like adding a touch of “fun” to their gear too.

I have a bridle by two horse tack- very very nice work.
Also NLS Equestrian Tack is a new company (the owner is a friend) with very nice blingy custom beta and bio tack.

Looks like Teskey’s offers some cool headstalls at reasonable prices. I have added one of their belt style headstalls to my wish list. http://www.teskeys.com/tack/headstalls.html?limit=all

I ordered a bridle and breast collar from Tayloredtack mentioned above, and they are beautiful! Woven overlay on burgundy biothane. Almost too nice to use!

Taylored Tack does wonderful work!! We recommend them a lot.

Showman is not great quality tack. I’d probably stay away from it, if you have the budget for something nicer.

Another vote for Taylored Tack!

Taylored Tack hands down!
