Edited: never mind, I found a great affordable set by Steve Guitron that looks great as well as a ton of articles that make sense about using a two rein bosal.
Is this an adequate bosal set? I can’t afford something like California Classics yet, but I’m dying to try out a nicer bosal on my mare. Would Dale Chavez be high enough quality to not hurt her face but give us a chance to try out the bosal?

I actually have a Dale Chavez bosal, but I don’t love it. While it is nicer than the entry level bosals, it’s not as soft as I’d like. This might be helped with a little rawhide cream, though. I did buy, though, a nice bosal from Buckaroo Gear that wasn’t too expensive and I love it!
