just curious about every ones experience with wax before day320. And if the mare did indeed foal early and if regumate was used what effect did it have? My mare started waxing at day 310 so was put on a week of regumate and was still waxing on it then and was dripping excessively but now nothing but she wont even go out without balking so what can i expect from your experiences?
Has she been checked for placentitis?

I have an early waxer right now too. She started waxing at 315 days. She looks ready to go, except isn’t quite relaxed enough under her tail yet. I’ve decided that I don’t need to keep checking on her throughout the night until she looks 100% ready to go. She’s at day 227 today.
