Hi! Reading through the test, the FEI 5 yr old Final dressage test, doesn’t denote if the test must be performed in the trot rising or sitting until the last part where is says to sit for the trot stretch circle. Is the test performed all at the sitting trot or can I post the trot? TIA!
It is done in sitting trot.
I had a quick look at YouTube videos of the 5yo test posted online and most seem to be done in posting trot
Thank you both for your responses. Most of the tests I’ve seen are sitting, but I hate sitting on their backs when they are that young for extended periods, especially for a medium or extended trot.
I did ask the judge as I circled the arena today. She said that because it isn’t denoted anywhere to rise or sit the test, but there was one movement specifically asking for sitting, it was my choice to rise or sit each movement.
