Question about KWPN-NA and KWPN registration

I tried to find the answers to this but I’m not seeing anything clear. I’m looking at a DHH filly who’s sire and dam are both registered (stallion is approved) with the KWPN. The filly is stated as not be currently registered but is selling with an ‘application’ for registration to the KWPN. Does that just mean she’s in the foal book, or do they have a half filled out form to be finished by the buyer? Is that normal?

Also, if a horse is registered in the dutch/royal KWPN are they automatically part of KWPN-NA? Or vice versa? Or do you have to register individually to each?
If I wanted to get a foal like her fully registered or put in the studbook for KWPN would she have to attend a KWPN-NA keuring since she was bred in the states or is regular online registration good enough?

I’m clearly new to all this and very confused, thanks!

If she is born in the USA by an approved stallion, she would automatically end up in the Foalbook with KWPN-NA after registration. Beware that you will need to pay registration fees and need DNA samples from foal. Then you will have to have a vet put microchip in the foal and sign the paperwork. It will cost you several hundred dollars. Depending on the age of the filly and whether she is still at her dams side maybe more due to late fees and extra DNA samples required.
You can register online, no need to attend a Keuring unless you want to.

As a three year old you can take her to a Keuring to get her into the studbook or get her Ster predicate.

I think best to call the office with your questions. She may not automatically be eligible for the Foalbook, she could be register A or B, depending upon the parent’s status. I dont know what an application is, but shes registered or not, there is no inbetween.
KWPN - NA operates under the KWPN, and horses born in North America register with them for paperwork. You would not do both.
To move into the studbook, she needs to have foalbook or Register A papers, and be shown after 3 years of age at a Keuring to be accepted into the studbook. Keuring attendance is not mandatory for foal registrations, but if you have one in your area you can spectate at, its a good learning experience.

Thank you for explaining! The filly is a yearling so I guess there would be some late fees to have her registered.
