Question about XC Saturday

There is a small group of us going down for Freestyle Friday night, staying the night, and then had planned to come back to do all of our fun shopping…and perhaps catch some XC along the way. From what I’m seeing, XC tickets are “sold out” for Saturday…does that mean we can’t get in at all to shop?

I can’t imagine xc tix are truly sold out! I’d check when you get there on Friday, see if they’re selling them at the park. But if they are truly sold out you won’t be able to get a grounds pass for Saturday–the days when competition is out in the open–endurance, cross country, and marathon–there are no grounds passes.

Apparently there are NOT an unlimited number of tickets (maybe due to parking?); Grounds Passes for Friday Oct 1 are sold out.

Yes, that is correct.

Any ticket gets you on the grounds (Trade Fair, Equine Village, Alltech & Kentucky Experiences).

Competition ticket gets that plus access to competition venue.

I just called to order our XC day tickets thru ticketmaster but got cold feet about pick up options. I just wanted someone to confirm that there is a will-call booth of some sort at the hors park…??? I sure would hate to pay for tickets and choose to pick them up at will-call and get there to find that there is no such thing. Can someone please confirm???

There is an option to print your tickets on ticketmaster- I did that. Fingers crossed it works or you’ll see me raising holy h#ll at the gates!

I just checked ticketmaster and they’re still offering ground passes for Friday October 1… I’m not sure if I should buy it now or cross my fingers that they’ll be available at the park tomorrow. I have tickets to the freestyle but the person who has my ticket wont be down until the evening and I really wanted to see the course walk.
