Warmblood sport horse auctions don’t have kill buyers and sell horses for $5.

I’m referring to auctions that take every breed, starving horses, old & young and where the kill buyers come every month.[/QUOTE]

If you re-read your posts, you refer to “auctions” and to whole breeds, without any other for the reader to think you mean specific situations or horses or breeders.

I was thinking, you may also not know who KB’s are.
They are horse traders that handle many horses over many years and some of those traders have found one more niche in horses that go to slaughter, although none of the KB’s horse traders “just” handle those, as you should have realized if you paid attention to the many horses the “rescues” you say you work with have contacts with.

Yes, those KB’s have all kinds of horses, even many that are perfectly fine horses for any one other purpose.

Maybe there would be less confusion if we state what we meant a bit less in generalities, but make clear what one means with more detail.

A horse breeder would have to be insane to affiliate with HSUS.
One need not join an organization in order to breed responsibly.

I don’t think the only point is to join to breed responsibly. You don’t have to join an organization to breed responsibly, that’s obvious. They also rehome horses among other things.

Any one that has animals to care for and associates with any kind of animal rights extremist, by definition, has to be not thinking this thru.

Why, as an animal lover AND caretaker/user, associate with someone that is after eliminating all uses of animals from human hands, eventually, as their ultimate goal?

To say “that is because “they” save horses” is being blind to HOW and WHY they save horses, by ultimately banning them from human hands.

There is a very important difference between:
ANIMAL RIGHTS EXTREMISTS: Those for “saving the enslaved animals from humans”.

… and …

ANIMAL WELFARE: Doing all we do with our animals the best we can manage, for the task and goals at hand.

When animal rights extremists, as they have the past decade or two, find that most normal humans don’t agree that we should eliminate all uses of animals and that hurts their advances toward’s their ultimate goal, they have done some PR repair and are trying now to also say they are helping with welfare concerns.

That is a Trojan Horse, one more way for them to gain control without being found out as of their ultimate goal, that is to disturb all we do with animals enough that it makes impossible eventually to have any.

Read some more on that, it is very interesting and kind of scary any more, because with more people out there, there are also more gullible ones to convince and eventually vote against our uses of animals, people that don’t realize that is what they are doing by donating to those groups and following their demands.

Anyone who wants to own and use horses period would have to be insane to affiliate with HSUS. No breeding necessary.
