Tried to google and found nothing. My sister bought a new bonnet but didn’t plan to use it, left her other plain one at home.
I’ve seen them with rhinestones and so on. I don’t think there’s any specifications on bling…
If you’re at the show already, just go show it to the TD if you’re not sure.
From the rulebook: Fly hoods (ear covers) are permitted for all classes in order to protect horses from insects. The fly hoods should be discreet in color and design and should not cover the horse’s eyes. After completion of the test, the rider or his representative is responsible for removing the fly hood to present to the designated ring steward for inspection to ensure that nothing prohibited has been added (for example, ear plugs). Logos in complaince with DR121.1 and manufacturer’s logos are permitted.
Thanks for the reply and you would think that would be the easiest solution however I’m not at the show, and she has my hunter/jumper background mother there to help her. Trainer didn’t know, bc she doesn’t show in bling. The TD was no where near where she was tacking up and she was in a rush - they had trailering issues this morning. This was a last ditch effort to get a quick reply before she had to throw her bridle on and quickly head to warm up.
