Quick reply questions

I have brought this up previously, but it’s still happening, so I’m bringing it up again.

I just posted a response to a thread and after clicking on “Post Quick Reply” the thread name that I’ve replied on is now in bold text. That is only supposed to happen if there is a new reply that I haven’t read, not one that I’ve made myself. Thread in question? The one about the passing of Boleem on SHB. (:()

It acts like you are quoting the last post.

Hmm…it’s working fine for me. What browser and version are you using Randee?

Are you seeing the checkable “quote message in reply” box below the Quick Reply box? Is it checked?

Are you just typing your response in the Quick Reply box then submitting it, or are you clicking something else beforehand, like the “quick reply to this message” feather/tablet icon from the last post in the thread?
