Quinar Offspring

Would love to hear from people who have horses by Quinar. Size? Temperament? Rideability? What divisions are they competing in? Would love to see any pictures and videos too!

My mare Quintini is by Quinar. Here she is -http://www.luckycranch.com/#!quintini/c4et

She is 16.1h, beautiful, talented, with excellent conformation. Her temperament is great - she is very intelligent and willing to please, and has good manners. She is very level-headed, not spooky at all. She has great energy but is not hot. She only ever acts “mare-ish” at feeding time - otherwise she is a sweetheart. She is good with other horses. Always healthy and easy to keep. She gave me a gorgeous filly this year (her first). Before she was bred she was doing very well in the young jumper classes. I intend to bring her back to competition in 2015.

Here is some info about Quinar - sire of 5 world champion jumping horses; including Quik Nick, who sold for 400,000 EU’s at the Holsteiner annual auction. Quinthago, a 5 year old daughter of Quinar, won the FEI world championships for young horses in Europe in Sept. 09 in a jump off – out of l30 in the class. 2 other Quinar offspring came in llth and l7th. Quinar has 16 approved stallion sons. Quinar offspring competing internationally include Quadrigo (Lars Bak Andersen), Queensland (Beat Mändli), Quintender (Henrik Gundersen), Quinara (Leopold van Asten) and Quick Nick (Jonella Ligresti).

I have a 4 year old Quinar filly and love her to pieces. She’s just shy of 16.1 and a little butt-high still. She is, shall we say, exuberant! Not a mean bone in her body, not hot, just has a little opinion and is happy to share :). Zero spook, super smart and while she is a little fussy with her mouth, she is soft and super rideable. Has had auto changes from day one. I will start showing her in little baby classes next year!

I know your mare well CRT! I followed her through her career under saddle when she was first started with Wendy in Florida, photographing her on several occasions at the Young Horse Shows in Wellington and Ocala. Congratulations on owning a fantastic mare and I can’t to hear of her successes in the ring in future!

Thank you!!

Thank you so much! I feel very lucky to have her, and I am so excited to start jumping and competing with her! It has been a long wait to start riding her since I bought her in foal earlier this year - but she gave me a beautiful filly so it was worth it!
