Might not want to watch the video. It is graphic.
People ought to have to watch to see what happens to them. My parents made sure I Learned as a small child what happens to unwanted animals. As well as all the tv videos of Hitler’s atrocities to humans.
thanks for posting this.
I have not watched the video. In the news headlines on the radio they mentioned retirement of racehorses. So I guess it has something to do with this video as I was out of the car by the time the News was read.
might not want to watch the videos of racehorses being trucked into one abattoir in Korea, either. Open topped carts towed behind vehicles. PETA identified some of the horses. a few were US breds. Sadly, that’s the norm in Korea for racehorses who can no longer race or do so poorly.
Well, this might help!
I wonder where the $25M will be coming from…
I also had some curiosity thoughts while reading this… are horses not humanely euthanized on ‘on farm’ now? And for the breeders… how does one know when one is breeding a foal if that resulting horse will have options or no options upon retirement?
I think it will be interesting to see how some of the commitments made by RV (Racing Victoria) pan out as this $25M Aftercare program will be rolled out and implemented.
