Rebeginner and I drank champagne in anticipation of RA’s win, and glad we did! Got to see the race live on TVG. Such an amazing filly, a fabulous race… so great for racing. She seems to be doing very well physically.
Whether she runs in the BC or not, she is definitely FOTY and should be HOTY, just an amazing animal. She’s a beast, and I mean that in the best sense of the word. Just truly incredible to watch.

We were clapping and hooting and hollering and toasting and cheering, all while being alittle teary-eyed. I would easily buy a last minute ticket to watch her next race, wherever it is…

Now: dare I confess there WERE dry eyes here? She ran an excellent race, and I’m delighted for Mr. Jackson but… the hype is getting to me. The second coming of Secretariat she is NOT. And IMO Zenyatta may be just a hair better, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
How much purse money has she earned over her career? Is she anywhere close to being the all time female money earner (which I guess is Azeri)?

I agree - AWESOME!!! I sat there with a mix of emotions going through me. Excited to see her run again, joy at her composure, strength, beauty and awesomeness, but I did watch with a certain sense of trepidation. The fear of the unknown.

I wonder, and this is very fanciful, if since JJ has already made his preference known to NOT run on the synthetics, could he send the Princess to The Arc? I think it is 1 and 1/2 miles which might be a problem, for most any American runner. The Euros are definately bred to run further
