While discussing the Just a Game stakes race, one of the hosts(Randy Moss I think) mentioned betting on the pregnant horse(Lady Lara).
Any idea what’s the story?
Would anyone(trainers/owners) really ever run a pregnant horse?
Yes its not all that uncommon
Some very famous, and very expensive, mares raced while pregnant.
HUH… learn something new all the time LOL
I’ve followed racing for years & I’ve never heard of it being purposely done.
I’ve heard of a mare being raced & then popping out a foal, but it was unknown she was bred.
So what other well known mares have run while bred?
