Or Flash44 was the first, and maybe original birthright personality, and the others emerged after that. I haven’t checked PB’s join date, but did know that Flash has been around as long as I have which is a really long time.
My notifications are approaching triple digits so here I am. I know Palm Beach who once lived in my area and we rode on a local circuit together a very long time ago. She moved away but we are fringe connected because of similar horse interests and bumping into each other every once in a while. you can quote someone and answer it as if you are someone else and it turns out into this. And I never lived in NY.
The problem is that PB quoted questions and answered/replied as if s/he were 3 other members, on the same day, including you.
But aside from what, why would anyone quote someone and answer it as if you are someone else, if you did not think you were, or were pretending to be, that someone else?
I’m not a newbie, been here from the beginning. Just because you see a date that doesn’t mean it is when someone originally joined. Didn’t you learn that from this exact thread? I respect you JB and think you would know better.
No need to be weirded out, but even if someone was new, why would it weird you out?

2 of the 3 PB alternate personalities are a few months old, or newer. There have been a lot of newbie threads this month. this PB thing just has some of us on edge.
Right?! This is even more weird especially when a poster I trust says differently about NY. But whatever. I don’t think the thread a person sent you is all that damning. I think it’s actually grasping at straws since we already know there’s been a mixup with the logins.
Don’t worry about Gesaffelstein, they showed up with a bang outing posters they think were previously banned. Pot meets kettle and all that. They apparently were randomly moved to make an account after reading here for YEARS.

Just as something weird to do because they were bored? I find that a more plausible explanation than somebody having multiple accounts for over 20 years and tens of thousands of posts without making any mistakes and then suddenly slipping up three times in one day.
Some quick internet sleuthing shows that at least one of the other accounts in question does appear to be a real person and data found through other information sites matches up with stuff they have posted here in the past. I do not think all of these accounts are controlled by PB.

How does this explain how or why Palm Beach answered a question directed at you, providing info about you, as you, in YOUR VOICE, if the two of you are not the same person?

Someone who creates multiple identities and fabricates whole back stories for fun is an unlikely cantidate to tell the truth. There’s really zero reason to believe that post, and it’s probably there to distract/gain sympathy/get attention in a forum other than this one, while getting called out for incredibly bad behavior over here.

Not that anyone needs excuses for alters, they are there for a reason, one more option.
I expect most of us just would not have a reason to or think we could get by with one, much less several of those to juggle, for reasons that were made obvious here.
Alters are part of a poster’s ID they choose to keep private.
I don’t think banned posters with a new ID count as alters.

Yes, he or she is probably scrambling for the attention and validation lying to all of us provided. No surprise at all to see a post that many would empathize with on off topic. But it’s not real.
