Well, color me surprised.

While there may not be any formal repercussions for using multiple accounts and basically creating multiple aliases, it certainly does damage any credibility Palm Beach had. I have generally found them to be of sound advice-giving, it was just the delivery that was a major turnoff.

What I find worth a chuckle about all of this is that one of Palm Beach’s favorite arguing points was centered around anytime someone stated they didn’t find vets to be the most knowledgeable about nutritional issues. Now we find that (apparently) PB’s husband is a vet and in the same post that they’ve just been looking up nutritional information on the web? :rolleyes:

In #14 PB enters as themselves and states that their husband is a vet (which now makes sense as to why they get so defensive when anyone says they wouldn’t go to their vet for nutritional advice) but post #14 PB appears to be responding to JB, who was responding to Flash. It was Flash who said they look up nutritional info online.

There are several posters on the boards that have more than one screen name, however when people notice they acknowledge it and everyone moves on.

The most recent occurred in a Safe Sport thread. Horsegirl’s Mom or some such. No one really cared. I know someone else made an alter to see how much people actually respond to the poster rather than the post. Everyone says they don’t look at who posts what but that experiment proved otherwise :yes:

I’m confused…has PB possibly been posting as F44 since the join date in 1999? Used to PM with F44 often over a long period time years ago when she lived in upstate NY but IIRC had some health issues and stopped being on here much or at all until a couple of years ago when she started posting on a much less frequent basis. I hope she’s well and not having her screen name poached.

I hope the OP here is legit and can sift through some of the noise to get good info and advice on her colt.

Funny how it’s been a week since @Palm Beach was caught in the lies of also being at least 3 other members, and not once has the PB persona acknowledged the mistakes or “mistakes” one way or another.

@Flash44 hasn’t even been back on the board since that mistake, and we KNOW that one is true because PB would never, ever thank me :lol: :lol: :lol:
@carman_liz tried to make us think she was a real person (because for sure we can trust someone on FB is who they say LOL).
@lanie1234 hasn’t tried to dispel that mistake and hasn’t been back on the board in almost a week.

I read that as Flash44 saying they know PB in real life, which made sense to me because F44’s location is Monkton and I think PB has alluded to or stated that they live in Maryland. I could be wrong though–or they could be the same person apparently!

PB just said she lived in Virginia here but I also recall MD from previous posts Doubtful any of it is true??

clearly your pony has multiple birth defects given the abnormal legs and overall size. Probably most people will have never seen such a thing as many breeders would have put down such a foal. It would be interesting so see what his DNA looks like and if he has abnormal sex chromosomes. You might need to contact a regional vet school and find out if the theriogenologist ( reproductive specialist) has any thoughts or experiences with something like this

Not weird. Flash44 and I have had many great conversations and discussions over the years. That reply was totally appropriate for the Flash persona. If s/he had been logged in under PB, s/he would have either not said anything to me, or would have found a way to be condescending or patronizing or otherwise take things off topic. So, the Flash44 personality was posting, not the PB personality. And that’s what caught my attention to all of this because 100% there’s no way in hell PB would ever thank me for anything, and it was clear whomever was replying thought they were logged in as Flash.
