I have recently discovered the Rambo Airmax Cooler online and I was wondering if any of you have had any experience with it. I have a palomino who loves to get manure stains before a show and I am always in search of a sheet that will keep her clean, but not too warm. I was wondering if this cooler will do the trick. When I see pictures of it, it looks like a solid material, but I don’t know for sure if it is. If it isn’t, would it work to keep a horse clean? I know it doesn’t have leg straps but I know how to add those on. I am currently using a nylon sheet that needs replacing but this one would keep her cooler than the nylon sheet. Thanks.
I have it in gray and it is a solid, polyester material. I used it last month at an indoor show under my horse’s stable blanket (at night, when it was cold - kept him from getting too hot/sweaty) and during the day, to keep him clean. I would recommend it to help keep them clean in a stall, but not to turn out in.
I use a fly sheet to get my guy clean before a show. It’s worked pretty well. I have seen this particular sheet though and it does look nice. Adams had it last summer for $50 and I was so tempted.
