Rambo Dry Rug Supreme?

Does anyone have this cooler? If so I’d love to know what you think of it overall, plus a couple of specific questions:

1. How is the fit? Without specific sizing I’m concerned that L won’t be big enough, even though the website says it should fit up to an 87, which is what my horse wears in his other Rambo blankets.
2. Could it worn as an additional layer underneath a winter blanket (Rambo Duo if that makes a difference)

This is top of my Boxing Day sales list. All reports I have read, and people I have spoken to say that it works well. I’M also told that fit is quite generous, so i’m Looking at a 78"…

I know this post is older, but I thought I would bump it back up to see if anyone has thoughts on the Original or Supreme Dry Rug! Specifically, I’m wondering how the supreme compares to the original microfiber one in terms of sizing and performance. I’m also interested in how it fits as well!

I went with the supreme and love it. It really works as advertised. Huge advantage over the Original is that shavings simply brush if the Supreme. The Original might as well be made of velcro, where shavings are concerned

I have the dry rug supreme and really like it. When I bought it, I had intended it to fit two very different sized horses. It is quite adaptable in size, as both the belly surcingles and the chest are made of elastic, and are adjustable. Plus the chest fastens with long velcro strips, so you have the option to choose how much overlap is required for it to fit a variety of sizes. You can use the elastic to make everything nice and snug so you get as much contact between the sheet and the body as possible for maximum wicking.

+1 to BigMama1’s point about shavings too. The biggest difference between the original grey and the newer teal is the shavings stickability. If your horse rolls in the grey, you’ll be picking each individual shaving off, one by one (or burning it).
