I think this is the right area to post this in but IDK, I hope it is right:D Has anyone used the Rambo Ionic Stable Boots? Or any of their ionic stuff? I am interested in their blanket and hock wraps also. BTW, I dont want to use BOT if I can. TIA
I don’t like the stable boots at all, the velcro was in the wrong place, I couldn’t close the boots at all (largest size), had to self-stitch velcro in a place to allow them to fit wider.
I have both the Rambo ionic blanket as well at a BoT sheet, and I’d say I get better results from the BoT, horse has muscle contraction problems, a couple of hours in the BoT as a liner and muscles relax, no difference after a couple of hours in the ionic.
Same experience with the liquid titanium blanket not effective in comparison to BoT ime.
As for wraps, I like the incrediwear standing wraps best, but I may be prejudice here, I struggle with shoulder bursitis myself and incrediwear overnight helps me way more than BoT.
I just seem to think this ionic thing doesn’t really do much, but that’s just a personal observation.
I have one horse who seems to prefer the Rambo Ionic sheet and one who prefers the BOT.
I personally have not used the ionic but I have a friend who when we were discussing it said her older horse with an arthritic fetlock had amazing results with it. She tried the back on track wraps with little effect and then tried the ionic and saw the difference.
I have one who prefers the Ionic to the BoT. He has the sheet and the stable blanket. He has no issues per se, he’s just a big, heavily muscled, dressage horse who appreciates comfort/warmth/assistance with muscle recovery. He comes out looser when he’s had it on overnight.
I found better results from the Ionic, and general I prefer the design/fit of the horseware products, especially the blankets. I have the sheet, the boots and the quartersheet.
