I emailed Horseware about the differences between the Original with leg arches and the Supreme. They said the only differences are price, color, and whether the hood is included. For those that have used both, is that the case? The fit and all features are the same?

Uh are you sure that the original neck rug and liners fit the supreme?
I do know that the supreme and the optimo neck rugs and liners are interchangeable because my horses have both styles. I gave away a neck rug from the original to another Cother a few years ago because it would not attach to either my optimos or my supremes. Have they changed? (Smartpak sent me the original neck rug w/o the blanket, and couldn’t understand why I was peeved.)
I have a 1991 (yes - really) Rambo original blanket that I am still using today. It has not been used continuously since then but at least half that time. It’s on one of my turned out 24/7 guys right now with an Amigo 12 rain sheet on top. Works like a charm! However there is no way to attach a neck cover.

My original sheet that is about 3 years old doesn’t have rings to attach a neck cover.

The Optimos and Supremes have neck covers that attach with a long strip of velcro on either side of the neck. The Rambo Original w/ Leg Arches have attachments for neck covers, but they have two velcro straps on each side that hook through little metal rings on each side of the neck. (Someone else can maybe explain that much better.) All of the above work with the liners. All of them also have the “V” front closure at the chest.
The Rambo Original does not have attachments for neck covers. These have the straight attachments at the chest.
The neck attachments have changed over the years, so really old ones may or may not attach the same way.
I agree with Dutchmare.
Do not buy a blanket without a neck rug coming with it. This happened to me when smartpak had the sale on the original and it’s neck rug, but then sent only the neck rug and said the blanket was sold out and refunded my money. I was stuck with a neck rug that did not attach like the optimo and supreme. So I gave it away to a Cother friend who tied it to her horse’s blanket with twine.
