Rapp Hunt will be having its fall hunter pace this coming Sunday (Oct 11) at Elmwood Farm. Elmwood Farm is west of Culpeper on Rt. 522. There is more information on the hunt website http://www.rappahannockhunt.org under the events section including the flyer and directions.
There will be multiple divisions both on the flat and jumping. All jumps on the jumping course are optional and some of the jumps are adjustable. The biggest jump is about 3’. I’d rate the course as a BN/N type course. Rolling hills and some water crossings. The course will be well enough marked that you won’t have to walk it.
I take my young hunt horse to elmwood every time we hunt there and jump him from the second flight. Great place for a young horse.
