Rapp Hunt Fall Trail Ride and Chili Cook-off

On Sunday, October25th, Rapp Hunt will be doing its annual fall tride and chili cook-off. The ride heads out around 11 am and we eat around 1. The weather forecast is for 66 and sunny. I can tell you the fall colors are very nice around here.

It will be a moderately paced ride with two groups-jumping and

Prizes will be awarded. If you cannot bring chili,
please bring a dish to share. We will provide the drinks.

Go 1/2 mile and turn left onto Rt. 644 (Reva Road).

Glebe Way. Go about 1/2 mile and look for stone entrance
on the left. Park in the field on the left.

Coolbeans. Let’s hope the weather is nice this weekend.

You gotta go!

OMG! This is the BEST ride ever! Very, very fun! Ya’ll gotta go!! Wish I could!
I’ve been several times and competed in the chili contest. Got a 3rd place once! (Wateryglen bows low to those superior chili chefs!) Everyone brings a pot of chili and after the judging; they put them out on the table and everyone can partake. There’s chicken chilis, vegetarian chilis, beanless ones, meatless ones, venison ones. Everything! Plus there’s cornbread, sides & desserts & drinks! Awesome!! You can waddle back to your trailer and try to stay awake on the way home!!
It’s a relaxing ride, fun people, definitely a must do.

I’ve been dying to try Venison. Every time I visit my relatives I forget to ask.

Trixie and I will be there with the “real” Everythingbutwings.

And a pot of Steak chili made with our own home grown and canned mesquite smoked tomatoes!

And Mr. Wings… And … And… SO MUCH FUN!

I’m jealous. Everyone enjoy and report back w/ the official chili winner!

We had a marvelous time. The weather couldn’t have been better for the occasion. I took a bunch of shots with my little Mavica and Trixie’s super digital.

Trixie’s has a lot more than are here but this will get you started.

Profuse thanks to Elghund and the members of Rappahannock for inviting us to share a wonderful experience.
