As I no longer am able to ride and have recently acquired a likely candidate for single pony combined driving I am looking for a driving instructor/coach who can get me re-started after decades of not driving. I found a couple of ADS approved organizations in western Oregon to network with but if anyone has specific recommendations of instructors in the Willamette Valley (Salem to Roseburg) I would be most appreciative. I’m generally in the south Corvallis area. Goal is eventually to compete at Inavale - well, perhaps that’s too lofty an ambition as it has been so long since harnessing up but I’m thinking this pony with such a lovely attitude, disposition and movement might just take me there - eventually - as I have a lot of catching up to do! Thanks to anyone who could point me in a good direction.
I’m on the East Coast and don’t know anyone in your area, but you’ve done the right thing in contacting the ADS-affiliated organizations (clubs?) out there. Driving clubs are excellent resources. You should also contact the ADS Regional Director (listed on the ADS website) for your area and see if they can help you locate someone. Good luck!
