A few episodes in and there is a stunning horse farm …supposedly in Venezuela. Gorgeous indoor, stables, lounge, and horses! Rider in the indoor is wearing a show coat even though just schooling. Sadly, the crime boss acknowledges to the ignoramous that all the horses there are retired racers. Huh - they look like WB showjumpers to me but hey…racers it is.

Yeah, I noticed that too, pretty silly.
However, as a big fan of the Lee Child series of Reacher novels, I have been pretty delighted with the Amazon series.
The actor playing Reacher is a great physical match for the part (unlike Tom Cruise, the less said about that, the better) and the script is pretty true to the spirit of the books, if not word for word.
And the fight choreography is excellent. If there’s something you need to get exactly right about bringing the Reacher books to life, the fight choreography is right after a lead actor of the correct physical type.

Agreed! I was willing the actors to get out of the way of the camera so I could see more of the arena.
The villain’s monologue about horses adjusting to a post race career induced an eye rolly muscle strain too, but I see how it was necessary as a lazy intimidation tactic.
Also the centre aisle of that immaculate, stunning barn looked like a skating rink.

I was greatly let down by the movies & was hesitant to watch this version.
