Doesn’t rustybreeches run a dairy farm?

She is the only one that comes to mind, I am sure there are others.

The challenges that are listed fit most farms. Might be tough finding candidates as the real farmers are too busy managing those issues to take time for a tv show.

I was hoping the “reality” show thing would be over by now.

Thank you for thinking of me! DH and I have a dairy, but I dearly love him and want to stay married, so no reality shows for us!

Sadly, this lifestyle has become a novelty, rather than just the way life is. America would be a better place if more people got up at dawn and got their hands dirty.

In Europe they got ‘Farmer looking for Wife’

well, they need to updae that, as some farmers have been looking for husbands, some Farmerettes have been looking for wives.:lol:

I hope it’s not one of them shows.

Farm Kings is in its 4th season I think and the guys are all hunky gorgeous and have brains and is doing well. I guess another network wants to cash in on the trend…

I wonder if it pays enough for people to try and take it on.

So much of it would probably be scripted and you guys would be doing some “acting”, so you could have fun with it depending on what the producers were looking for!

Bauern sucht frau. Yeah huge show here. LOL

I watched the episode when one couple was making preparations to get married (they were from near by, so sort of interesting)
it was funny how the farm guy had to get used to her menagerie…but in the end he got them decked out with bows to bring to the ceremony…

Sis and I watched all the possible entries for upcoming shows…we had a good laugh or two…when the prospect started of strong, then threw in something completely crazy, uh, nope, you just disqualified yourself…especially when you got mom singing your praises…

Australia has “Farmer wants a wife” And the last season or two they have had " farmer wants a husband". And I was pretty impressed with the show. They have quite a few marriages with kids now too.
