The Real Rider Cup is July 9 in Lexington! It is a charity event that brings different people of the racing industry together to show off second career Thoroughbreds. It will be over a jumper/stadium course and you can donate for a competitor of your choice on the website https://therealridercup.com/. It is a great fundraising event for off track Thoroughbreds and will be lots of fun. Proper placement, rehabilitation, and retraining are so important for racehorses. Many can be competitive in a variety of disciplines. I am Regulatory Veterinarian at the racetrack and my job is to look out for the horses so they can compete safely.
