REALLY comfortable waterproof shoes/boots

I’m looking for a recommendation for a really comfortable waterproof slip on shoe or boot. Something I could wear all day. I’m not too worried about heat, much more concerned with insoles to support and comfort my feet. I don’t really do well with Ariats - the insole just doesn’t match my foot shape.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!

Amy

I love my Dublins but you’d have to buy a sole for support.

I love the North Face hiking sneakers- waterproof, easy to slip on and great support. I’ve had my current pair for almost 2 years now and they’ve lasted well through daily barn abuse.

I adore my Dubarrys.

How waterproof do you need them to be?

Redbacks and Blundstones come in waterproof leather. I have to put insoles in Blundstones; Redbacks offer enough support with the insole that comes with the boot. I love my Redbacks.

But they’re “walk through the wet grass” and “horse bath” waterproof, not “stand in a puddle” waterproof.

I absolutely LOVE my Bogs. They come with thick soles and get broken in to the shape of your foot, or at least mine did, so two years later they still keep getting more comfortable.

I have these and love them:

so far they’ve held up to a year of almost-daily wear for horse chores, gardening, etc. and still look brand new.

I have a pair of Merrell hiking boots that are very comfy and waterproof, ( I also love my Ariat Terrains H20 - waterproof, breathable and comfy) but for real waterproof needs at the barn etc I wear tall Bogs boots. I love them. They are comfy but I do use a supportive insole in them, as well as in most of my shoes, since I have recurrent Plantar Fasciitis (sigh).

I’ve had very good luck with Clark’s Muckers. I have a pair that’s nearly 10 years old, used every day for barn work and they’re just now starting to leak in one boot. They’re very comfortable and have lots of support. I can stand on concrete for hours in them with no issues. They slip on and off easily.
