Really, Dressage Hub?

I’ll see your venomous and raise it to really, really weird: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3eCuAwaYfQ&t=418s

Why is she going on about something she obviously knows NOTHING about? Oh, never mind. She knows nuttin’ about nuttin’.

There was some drama with Dressage Hub and the British Grooms page on Facebook over something at WEG.

I have to agree. Please do not give her clicks.

If she posts something crazy then provide screen shots or such for people. People clicking links to her stuff only feeds her.

Shrill, strident, patronizing, condescending. While asking for money. What’s not to love?

Yeah I don’t click on her so all these comments are mystifying. On the other hand I can probably imagine just fine.

She’ll come here under another alter soon enough and tell us all how stupid we are for not recognizing her “awesomeness” lol. Or maybe she’ll resurrect her very ironic campaign against bullying in riding

Haven’t logged in here for a very long time but was wondering if anyone here had noticed the crazy happening on Dressage Hub again, re: Tryon. She is definitely reading here and complaining on her personal page. What is awful is the lewd meme she made of Brittany Fraser and posted on her personal page. She likes to keep that open so people can see just how nasty she is.

She should be removed from FB.

How many more threads about the evil injections do you need Manni01?

I feel curious.

No. We didn’t notice because we don’t go to her sites. it’s fun to hear about the cray cray second hand though. Feel free to post details  just not going to see myself. Also stuff on those sites appears, disappears, gets modified and deleted.

Oh stuff certainly disappears and reappears and well, just simply vanishes, it must be a full time job just deleting posts and banning people all day. I never open her You Tube videos and I don’t ‘like’ or ‘follow’ Dressage Hub either. She allows most of her posts on her personal profile to be public as it’s another way for her to continue her tirade against the people who actually ride.
What she has posted about Brittany Fraser has been reported. I’m having a hard time trying to find the words to describe it, but essentially she has images of Brittany up and it appears she has had one image photoshopped onto an image of a blow up sex toy calling her BJ Brittany - she’s posted it to dressage Hub and on her personal page.

It’s low and it’s vulgar. I hope something is done about it.

All very Ramen-noodle worthy  Sorry Ramen Noodles, not personal. :frowning:

where does her behavior re riders at shows fall in to the Safe Sport umbrella of bullying?

just askin’

As if the public begging for money wasn’t pathetic enough, the stuff on her personal page is just really sad. She clearly comes here and reads every word posted about her and she thinks the fact that people talk about her makes her relevant or important or powerful. Not sure if she doesn’t see or doesn’t care that people only talk about her here because they are laughing at her - everyone loves a good train wreck. It’s like the Maestro - completely irrelevant to the sport because he’s a no talent nobody when it comes to riding or training but his delusions of grandeur and his ridiculous behaviour are entertaining. I’m not sure how being an international laughingstock makes SW feel important but to each their own I guess.

Now that Tryon seems to be trucking along nicely, she’s not saying much at all. Nothing to hate on, I guess. It’s been fun watching the comment feed on her WEG hater posts, anyone not agreeing with her gets their comments deleted post haste. It’s interesting to watch a “business” self combust in real time.

Since she is neither a trainer, a rider, an official, an owner or a breeder, since she is not currently involved in the equestrian world at all except as an internet troll, there are no possible sanctions from the USEF.

I understand she has been banned from numerous showgrounds for her internet behavior. Not just denied journalistic credentials, but actively personally blocked from attending. I wonder if she was blocked from WEG?

From the posts here, she even seems to have got herself barred from the Alberta Mane Event horse expo, which is probably a first for that organization!

As far as people playing the vicious clown online and doing and saying anything to get attention, DHub certainly has lots of company online and the question of how such people imagine they appear to the world is an interesting one.

That’s why l called her the alt.right of horses. Think about all the political bloggers that will make up outright lies about their opponents and just want to cause discord, confusion, and mayhem. Who don’t care how they humiliate themselves as long as they get attention. The internet provides a platform and breeding ground for this. DHub is au courant, or perhaps very 2016 at least.

It just looks silly in a small contained hobby sports world like riding.

I agree, and I definitely think she gets off on the attention, posting utterly divisive rubbish to generate comments (which she then deletes if they’re not fan-girling). It’s such a small world though, and she’s so well known for being an aggressive whiner, I can’t see that it’s doing her any favours. Her bile reads very much like her press accreditation application for WEG was turned down, and therefore she has to hate on it like a toddler being denied a cookie.

Any attention is good attention? Not really.

Some internet entrepreneurs or provocateurs do manage to make money off attention seeking online personas, but they are playing in much bigger ponds than the horse world, they are usually men playing to a predominantly male audience that likes to argue, and their internet persona is a performance to a substantial degree.

That lets them be a bit more savvy about their projects. It also lets them have an important divide in their lives between real day to day life, and the stuff they concoct or prank online.

DHub actually seems sincere. It seems she actually feels this way, and she repeatedly says she will use humiliating posts to get “revenge” on BNT and BNR.

Nothing about DHub says prank. It just says trainwreck.

It’s part of her line to say she’s courting controversy and all attention is good because it’s hits to her page. But that’s only true for a fairly self aware internet provocateur or prankster that can “read” their audience and develop a relationship with them that sucks them in almost against their will. Successful internet provocateurs enjoy the wrangle and argument in the chat threads.

If you just post personal spite and then delete the chat threads that debate you, basically you are shutting down your own project and killing your audience and market.

When you are too close to the material as DHub is, it’s not controversy. It’s trainwreck.

Again, agreed. She’s spoken of in the same hallowed tones as the good Rev Allan Buck and The Maestro - not good company to keep.
