Recent experience with PDS dressage saddles?

I’m looking at a PDS dressage saddle (specifically the Delicato II), but I don’t know much about them besides what’s posted on their website. Can anyone tell me how the ride compared to other brands? I have a Luc Childeric DSC dressage saddle that I really like, but it doesn’t fit my horse. I also rode in a prestige D1K that was great for me but again didn’t fit my horse. I generally like a forward balance point, narrow twist, and close contact feel. Saddles I haven’t liked include Voltaire (felt too far away and didn’t like how the pommel hit me) and black country.

Apparently PDS changed their design from an earlier wide twist to a moderate/narrow twist, so that’s why I’m asking for recent experience. I found a few threads about PDS saddles but many of them were 10+ years old.

I would suggest you consider resale value on it, I’m not sure they are as popular as other brands. I had tried the Delicato II a couple of years back but returned it, wasn’t the right fit for my horse. I ride a CWD dressage saddle, both me and my horse love it. You might look at an Amerigo, they have a forward balance.

Thanks for the suggestion. I was concerned about resale value too, and how well it’ll hold up. I’ve seen a couple of older ones that look pretty worn. Amerigo and Equipe are brands that I’m hoping to try.
