It’s reddish more than orange.
I got it from a Great Uncle’s estate some 40ish years ago.
Also not Fiestaware, it’s Hall’s
Is that a Sign we s/b CO neighbors?

Could be a sign! Now to talk DH into it!
Also, in my role as enabler, I would like to point out that our weather reporting doesn’t even include a “feels like” temperature here since the humidity is so low. (OK, let’s not talk wind chill.) Byers is closer to the metro than Deer Trail! (But both are along I-70.)
AND, if our schedules had aligned, this past Sunday was nice enough to have driven if we were a bit brave with temp. Midweek this week temps will be low 60s, then retreating back to 44F for our next scheduled attempt - this Sunday. (I’m the scheduling problem here as that pesky day job leaves me with weekends only available. )
We still have a lot of snow and ice here, so I don’t think we could have driven on Sunday. Plus it was pretty cold here–the wind chill was nasty. Plus I wasn’t going to pass on a chance to see “Jesus Christ Superstar” at the Lincoln Center. I didn’t get a chance to see it when it was first came out, as I was too young to get there under my own steam. I always wanted to see it. The production yesterday was very well done. I’m always impressed at the talent they get for their shows. My daughter treated me to the show, and also a nice lunch. I was a bit dismayed to hear that it’s the 50th anniversary since the movie. That makes me old. I think I was maybe 13 when the music came out (ahead of the play and movie).
Sorry for the off topic jaunt–I still have all the music from the show running through my head. I knew all the words from back when it was on AM radio.
We are finally getting some more melting today, but I still have an ice floe in front of my house. A snow plow today would do wonders while it’s a bit softened by the sun. I haven’t been out on my bike since the day before Thanksgiving. It’s just too icy.
Did Denise say this Sunday was a possibility? I thought the 17th was her next availability. But I do have holes in my head that let my brains drain out, so I don’t trust my memory. If we do this weekend, we definitely want to confirm the footing is OK. My kid told me we got even more snow than I’d thought–ten inches, and we just haven’t had a lot of melting. We’ve had a lot of cloud cover, and low temps.
