My sister has lost her beloved dog around Atlanta. I have read that tracking services can be exploitative of desperate owners. Understanding that, we are desperate. One lead we had is out sick. Knowing it’s a long shot seeking COTH recommendations. TIA.
Make sure posts are up in Lost Dogs Georgia facebook page, Georgia’s missing pets facebook page, any and all local facebook pages for anything and everything (neighborhood associations, local businesses, yardsales, etc.), atlanta craigslist, every vet in a 20 mile radius should have a hard copy of the flyer, animal control, atlanta humane society, helpinglostpets.com, lostmydoggie.com, fidofinder.com, pawboost.com, missingpets.net, and @lostdogsgeorgia on twitter.
Between lost dogs georgia and georgia’s missing pets facebook, if there is a tracker in your area they can help connect you.
Would you mind PM’ing me a link to a public facebook post? I grew up in the area and would be happy to share on facebook.
I would suggest paying for an ad on PawBoost – they do geo-fenced Facebook ads, so people who aren’t in the missing pets groups but are in the area, will still see the ad. https://www.pawboost.com/
Grace. Thank you. Done!
Thank you wsmoak. She has an active PawBoost ad. Good to know about that.
Bump for the weekend. Still missing
Lost Pet Professionals - Karin TarQuwyn - she’s legit, had a FB page and has a huge network of professional searchers all over the country. 888-569-5775 Some even in your area. Amazing record of found dogs.
Try the facebook group “lost and found- north georgia pets”. Is the dog microchipped? Was the dog stolen or truly just got out? Is it ok to put the information right here on this website?
