Recommendations for an After Market hitch camera?

We have an older model pick up as a shared farm/hauling vehicle and are forever hooking and unhooking the horse trailer and flat bed trailer.

If we replace the truck, it will likely be with a newer model, but unlikely to be new enough to have the standard equipment hitch cameras.

What are your recommendations for a hitch camera? Thoughts on cost, ease of use, etc?

Well, this is old, but still does the job, and is easier to use than most anything I have owned - as long as you remember to keep the camera and monitor charged. Stick on the magnetic camera, adjust to the right position to see the hitch ball, take the monitor into the truck and in short order you are lined up. The monitor is quite small, but since it isn’t tethered to a cord you can hold it right up to your face if necessary. And on occasion mine sees double duty as a trailer monitor for short hauls, and even as a stall monitor. This one is about 25 years old and still doing its job.

Currently the same Swift Hitch Model SH-01 is $136.87 on Amazon.

I installed this one on my Tundra and it was really easy to install and is pointed right at the ball, so very easy to use. The screen is small, but I didn’t have a problem with it. I actually think it’s easier to use than the larger screened OEM camera in our new Ford.
