Hi,
im looking for recommendations for good dressage trainers in the Tampa area. I actually do hunter/jumper but I have to take some time off from riding for a few months and was thinking I would use the time to get my horse better tuned with his flat work. I especially would like to find a person that has a good rep working with difficult lead changes. My boy does them but they need to be a lot smoother for the hunter ring. I don’t have any problem with it in the jumper ring but he just can’t seem to realize that there is no reason to get nervous in the hunter ring. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I would highly recommend Tik Maynard/Sinead Halpin. They are located in Ocala area and they are absolutely the best. Tik can help the most nervous horses relax and become all around happier horses. I sent my horse there from Michigan and have a young horse I will likely send to them to be started.

How far are you willing to drive? Poulin’s are about 2 hours from you in Deleon Springs.

Unfortunately tik Maynard is out of my budget.
I dont mind going some distance for the right trainer. I’m back and forth to Ocala a lot so somebody in that area would still work.
