I am thinking about breeding one of my mares this spring. I’m a newbie to breeding and want to work with a good, experienced repro vet. Anyone have any recommendations for a good one in Southern Pines, NC? Thanks!
You might have better luck asking on the sandhills board on FB. I live in the Raleigh area but 3H is in New Hill and Fernando does tons of breeding. Tons. He might be a good one to work with even though he’s a bit of a hike. That is, if no one can suggest someone closer.

Dr. Kivett is board certified in internal medicine, but had a particular interest in therio work in vet school and is really good at it.
We have used Dr. Barbara Siegel when we were in the SP area. She is great and is close by.
We are now using Dr. John Parks of Iron Will Mobile Veterinary. They are located in Burlington NC but travel.
Both are well versed in fresh and frozen.
