Neither Marlon nor Rachel have a license or contract to supply slaughter horses and in fact simply take what doesn’t sell at their sale or through their ‘rescue’ sales back to NH. From there could they end up heading to slaughter? Sure, but not if they are emaciated.
By the way an appy stallion who came from there a couple weeks ago is EHV-1 Positive.
So, be aware and watch the horse you got. Hope he’s still being quarantined.
