Hey guys. It’s been about 26 years since I’ve been on here. Still follow some of it. Recently got back on a horse after losing my left leg. Im wondering if anyone knows if Rick Fancher is still in the business? Im talking about the Rick Fancher that was in New Jersey back in the 90s and early 2000s. Last I’ve heard he was in Fl but that was it. Im looking to try and reconnect with my old trainer.
He is based in Kentucky, definitely still in the business because they were at HITS Ocala all winter.
I was trying to figure out why his name sounded so familiar, since I rode and showed on the west coast. So I Googled. He rode Osczar! We bred a couple of times to Alla Czar, and I remember speaking to Dawn, so that’s why I remember Rick’s name.
Welcome back and I’m glad you have been able to ride again after what sounds like an incredible personal journey. I hope you’re able to reconnect.

That’s not the same Rick lol. Yes, crazy but there’s 2 of em! The Rick Im looking for is 75 years old now. I remember he use to ride Elaine Mansfield’s horses. I know he showed her warmbloods in the green Hunters.
Different Rick Fancher lol. I know him as well since we did the international hunter futurities together.
