Recs for Jumper Trainer in/around NOVA

As a few peeps on here might remember, about 18 months ago we went searching for a baby green large hunter pony to lease for my then 14yo. The universe intervened and we came home the proud humans of a quirky little Czech WB jumper who was polite but didn’t much seem to be enjoying his job in the US. A year and a half of hard work and a few hard falls later and my former hunter kid now has her heart set on the U25s. The quirky little jumper seems to have found his fire and athleticism again, And I just registered the two of them for the Low Children’s Jumpers at Upperville. :+1::two_hearts::two_hearts:

Current trainer is amazing & capable & works so nicely with them. However, she’s passing the torch as she doesn’t have enough riders going to the rated jumper shows daughter would like to attend to make it economically feasible for her to spend that much time away from the barn. So, we are starting the search for a jumper trainer - ideally with a twist of EQ - to whom daughter and my “grandson” can trailer in for lessons and meet at shows. Daughter would prefer someone who has other juniors for the social aspect but will continue to deal with being the lone under 35-er if need be. Horse prefers someone whose coaching style is quiet and calm.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I’m bumping this for you because I know there’s NOVA people on here that can help.

My suggestion would be Kama Godek. I’ve not ridden with her but she has the GP experience your daughter needs.

Guy and Tiffany Cambria or Sloane Coales would be my recommendations.

My husband is a GP rider here in NOVA and he said Sloane is one of the best riders who coach in the area. And she and the family are super nice! If you can handle tough but the best there’s always Katie Prudent
