At the last show I was at, the garbage cans were brimming with plastic water bottles. I was wondering if any show facilities are offering water bottle refill stations? I know Tryon offers recycling bins. I can’t think of any other shows that do. I would imagine California shows offer more earth friendly ways to get fluids considering their plastic bottle ban. WEC offers water bottle filling stations, I am pretty sure they offer recycling too. I love being able to refill a water bottle rather than having to bring many with me. Plastic water bottles are such a waste in so many ways.

WEF has water coolers at every ring, but I have yet to see a recycling bin on the property, sadly.

Where you can refill water bottles? If so, are they filled with big canisters of water like you can get at Whole Foods? Thanks!!
I was just thinking about this for our upcoming show series. It would be great to be able to refill water bottles rather than use disposable. I wish this could become the norm!
Green is the New Blue has made strides in this area.
Many people refill water bottles from the ingate coolers that we’ve all had for decades. They were gone during COVID of course but they are returning.

Thunderbird this year is giving all competitors a metal TBird cup and you refill these instead of them handing out water bottles to everyone…… plus they usually have little paper cups at every i gate you can fill as needed from a water cooler! (They have recycling and regular garbage at the gates and around the grounds)
