Redmond Daily Stress Relief (powder)

Any reviews of this product as far as ulcer preventative and calmative? Any negatives?

It’s bentonite clay with an anti-caking agent, so is neither going to prevent ulcers nor calm a horse.

It MAY help temporarily coat existing ulcers, and if those ulcers are the reason the horse isn’t calm, then it may help

But you can find bentonite clay for a lot cheaper too

Thanks, JB. Lots of marketing behind that product. I think I will stick with Purina Outlast, which has a lot of research behind it.

I know someone who tried it for several months for their horse who had digestive type issues ( a little gassy , no ulcers).

The good news is that the horse ate it and it didn’t hurt him at all. Didn’t do anything to help with the digestive issues. A digestive supplement tried next did the trick.

The Daily Stress Relief does have a lot of very positive reviews on merchant websites.

My horse wouldn’t touch it. :woman_shrugging:

Well, like the company is ever going to post any negative reviews on merchant websites…

My horse would not touch it either! Not even hidden in mash.
